Equazen® Liquid

Child-friendly, naturally flavoured citrus liquid with EPA, DHA and GLA. DHA supports brain function*. For 3+ years to adult.

Equazen® Liquid

Equazen is available in a flavoured liquid that is ideal for children or adults who have difficulty swallowing capsules.

Many of us find it difficult to get our children to eat the Government recommended portion of both fish and oily fish per week.

Results from the UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey show that over the past six years we have made little improvement in encouraging our children to eat oily fish. It also shows that a worrying proportion of children and young people have low intakes of some brain-supporting nutrients.

Ideally, children would obtain all the essential fatty acids they need from their diet, but where this isn’t possible, EQUAZEN liquid is available as a supplement to help bridge any potential nutritional gaps.

Natural great tasting flavours

As with all EQUAZEN products, our high EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) marine oils are processed to remove much of the fishy taste and odour. We then combine the fish oil with omega-6 cold-pressed virgin evening primrose oil and add natural flavours:

  • Our EQUAZEN citrus liquid is a blend of natural lemon flavours without the sugar, to be taken from the spoon, or even added to the likes of smoothies, drinks or food.

Ingredients

Equazen® Liquid: Key Ingredients

  • Omega-3 Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) from fish oil is a marine fatty acid, which provides the building blocks of the brain and eyes. It makes up 40% of the polyunsaturated fatty acids, or PUFAs in the brain and 60% of those found in the retina.
  • Omega-3 Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) is one of the fatty acids that makes up Omega-3 found in oily fish
  • Omega-6 Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) from cold pressed evening primrose oil and metabolite Arachidonic Acid (AA),  ensures a synergistic and balanced formulation to meet the body’s individual needs.
